ANNUAL SHUT DOWN - POOL WE BE CLOSED FROM 25TH DECEMBER. RE OPEN 6TH JANUARY. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

To enhance pool safety, we’ve decided to raise the minimum age for children to visit the pool without an adult to 11 years old. We want to remind everyone that our lifeguards are responsible for enforcing pool rules and responding to emergencies. However, they are not there to supervise or babysit children.

If you send your child (11 years or older) to the pool without an adult, please understand that they will be swimming unsupervised at your own risk. Our goal with this change is to encourage more families and adults to use the pool, which we believe will enhance safety for all.

Pool Pricing Update:

Under 5: Free

Kids (5-15) with an adult: $2

Kids (11-15) without an adult: $4

Adults (16+): $4

Families (2 adults + up to 4 kids): $10

SWIM SCHOOL  

SWIM SCHOOL RUNS THROUGH TERM 4 & 1 FOR 12 WEEKS. 12 LESSONS IN TOTAL 

Swimming lessons for children 6 years and older, who have some water confidence and are able to touch the bottom at the shallow end of our pool. Shallow end is 1 meter and the deep end is 1.3 meters.  We have term lessons available for $120 per 12 weeks ($10 per lesson). These are held every weekday between 3pm and 6pm.  

ENROLLMENTS CLOSED, REOPENS OCTOBER 2025

Booking is essential.  Full payment of lessons must be paid before 1st lesson.

Open Hours 

During School hours the Pool is used by the Te Kauwhata College. On School days the pool will be open to the public:   

Before School Monday Wednesday and Friday 6am –  8.30am lane swimmers only 

After School 3pm - 6pm public use 

Tues/Thurs 6pm - 7pm lane swimmers only 

Thursday 10:00am - 11am lane swimmers and aqua aerobics only

SCHOOL HOLIDAY POOL HOURS   

Public Use – 1pm till 6pm Monday – Sunday  

Lane swimming morning: Mon/Wed/Fri – 6.30am – 10am  

Lane swimming evenings: Tues/Thurs 6pm – 7pm

When weather conditions are severe, the pool will be closed.  The pool is closed on public holidays and during the winter season.
