COVID 19 RESPONSE

Re-Opening Thursday 14th May 

  

Dear Fitness members,
   I am delighted to say that we can finally re-open on Thursday 14th May.  Under level 2 we still need to adhere to the national guidelines of safe operations. Below are the guidelines that everyone must follow when using  the fitness centre


FITNESS PROTOCOL

SANITIZE
   On arrival at the fitness centre please sanitize your hands. The sanitize is on the wall above the sign-in sheet. Please sanitize before touching anything.

CONTACT TRACING
   It is absolutely essential you sign in. Writing neatly your full name and contact number. The reason for this is so tracing can be done if there was someone diagnosed with COVID 19 who had attended the centre.

NO SWEAT TOWEL,  NO TRAINING
   Please bring a large towel with you to put over fitness equipment including mats when you lie or sit

ANTIBACTERIAL SPRAY - SPRAY-ON ALL EQUIPMENT
   Please spray all equipment before and after use. There is also bottles of disinfectant in bathrooms please do the same after touching taps and surfaces.

WASH HANDS
   Please wash your hands before and after using the gym (and during if you need to). Avoid touching your face. If you cough or sneeze wash hands immediately.

LIMITED NUMBERS IN GYM
   We will be limiting numbers to 10 in the gym at any given time. We don't see this as being an issue at this stage but if it occurs we will consider using a booking system.

SOCIAL DISTANCING     
   Please remember social distancing rules. Avoid using equipment next to another person.

CLASSES
   Our instructors will ensure that social distancing is followed. Equipment will not be shared and sanitized thoroughly before and after. This means that some of our classes have changed to reflect these new rules. Because of spacing restrictions, all classes will be held in the large gymnasium,  unfortunately, that means the day times classes will not resume until we can find a way to do it safely. Due to spacing and contact tracing it is now a requirement to book in advance to attend classes. To do this either email admin@tkfitness.co.nz  or Text 0223557370 please state which class, time and your full name.
